SLO monitoring built into your status page.
Define a target per service, track the error budget as it moves, and publish the result to customers. No separate SLO tool required.
An SLA matters only if you know when you are on track to breach it. Observer connects the SLO directly to the metric that defines it, so the budget number is computed from live data, not typed by hand.
Track the budget, not just the uptime.
Uptime percentages report the past. Error budgets tell you what you have left to spend before the SLA is breached.
- Target and window per service
- Set a target percentage and a rolling window of 1 to 365 days per SLO. The available error budget follows from those two numbers automatically.
- Budget and burn timeline
- The SLO drilldown shows remaining error budget and the burn events that consumed it. Each event records which metric crossed which threshold and when.
- Per-customer SLO overrides
- Enterprise is on 99.99%, Standard is on 99.9%. The same underlying metric is evaluated against each customer's contractual target independently.
- Public SLO display
- Publish the SLO strip on the public status page so customers see the current budget alongside the live status. Available on the Pro plan.
- Weekly digest email
- A scheduled report lands in your inbox every week: attainment over the window, budget consumed, open burn events. No dashboard visit required.
Service, then metric, then budget.
The path from a contractual target to a live budget number has four steps, each one visible in the console.
- 01
Define a service
Group the metrics that describe one system boundary. Services are the unit SLOs attach to.
- 02
Create an SLO
Choose a metric, set a target percentage and a rolling window. Observer computes the error budget from those two values and begins tracking.
- 03
Watch the budget
The drilldown shows remaining budget, the burn-event timeline, and the metric readings that caused each burn.
- 04
Override per customer
Attach a customer to an SLO with their own target. Their budget reflects their contract, computed from the same metric as everyone else.
SLOs scale with your plan.
The number of SLOs available and the features that attach to them depend on the plan your organisation is on.
SLOs not included.
Up to three SLOs across all services.
Unlimited SLOs, per-customer overrides, and public SLO display on your status page.
Unlimited SLOs, per-customer budget panels, and SLA compliance evidence packs.
